Literary Horizons Review (LHR, E-ISSN: 3122-699X) is an open-access journal dedicated to exploring the transformative power of literature across cultures, genres, and theoretical frameworks. As a dynamic platform for scholarly exchange, LHR fosters interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, critics, and creative practitioners engaged in redefining the boundaries of literary studies. By bridging traditional and emerging perspectives, the journal advances innovative approaches to textual analysis, cultural critique, and the evolving role of literature in a globalized world.
Guided by the principle of "bridging literary traditions through interdisciplinary dialogue and creative-critical engagement," LHR welcomes original contributions spanning research essays, theoretical explorations, comparative cultural studies, and experimental literary analyses. We particularly encourage submissions that showcase innovative methodologies at the crossroads of:
· Global literary networks and transnational cultural flows
· Digital humanities and the reconfiguration of literary spaces
· Eco-criticism and environmental storytelling
· Intersections of literature with social justice, identity, and ethics
· Adaptation studies and multimedia narratives
· Cognitive approaches to literary reception and interpretation
Open Access: This journal operates under a "gold" Open Access model, providing free access to all readers. The Article Processing Charges (APC) for all article types (research, review, case reports) is $0, and the content will be published under a CC BY 4.0. To encourage submissions and support the research community, LHR currently levies no APC (0 APC). For specific APC policies, please refer to the Open Access Policies.
Processing Cycle: The manuscript processing cycle is approximately 12 weeks from submission to acceptance.
Recognition of Reviewers: reviewers who provide timely, thorough peer-review reports receive vouchers entitling them to a discount on the APC of their next publication in LHR, in appreciation of the work done.
